After winning 2Exc RCAC at the NRA in Kassel Lizzy wins the Open Class at the IRA Kassel with 1Exc CAC and CACIB and finally qualifies for the title German Champion VDH + DDC and International Champion at the same time. One year is over and we are so very happy and proud of our dream team Ronia & Lizzy. Congratulations to Lizzy’s sister Fly for winning 3Exc in Champion Class platziert wird and to her half brother Dave von den Wallufer Mühlen who wins 2Exc RCAC in the Open Class. Her young half brother Finoh vom Bierstadter Hof wins “vp” and Fila a “p”. Congratulations also to the fascinating young female Lord Looping’s Anvay for winning BOB (Best of Breed) even in the Youth Class.

Costa Brava de la Vallée de la Chesnaie (a cousin of Lizzy living in France) wins the youth Class for the fourth time in Germany (twice in Leipzig and now twice in Annaberg-Buchholz) Congratulations to our friends the Delavier family for their home bred female qualifying for the German Youth Champion.

We’re so happy to get a new picture of one of Piala’s sons: Ares vom Emsbachtal (born March 13th, 2002). He looks good and very happy living with his family Kombert in Koblenz and we decide to visit him soon.

Congratulations to Rhy and Annemiek Morgans for their male Elaridge Celtic Warrior winning BOB+BIS7 and to the Kok family for their beautiful and simply unbeatable female Jilloc’s Seventh Heaven winning the CACIB today. At the DDC-Show in Adendorf/Erbsdorf Luke (Damn Right vom Emsbachtal) becomes best male of the day in Champion Class winning 1Exc CAC VDH+Club and his Schwester Amy (Dot ‘n Dash) also wins the Fun Class! We’re so happy for Amy because she could finally prove herself to be a born show dog - something we noticed long ago even when she was a tiny little pup.

We decided to open up a complete new site for all of the many pictures of different dogs at shows since our own private site is getting too crowded and it’s starting to look like it’s the most important thing to us - which it isn’t, of course. This is how it all started: In the year 2005 when our daughters came home with some very good pics of some of the dogs at the show I asked them to try to get pics of all of them because I was sure that people would like to see these good pictures of their own dogs. This collection of pictures has made it possible to watch the development of certain dogs as well as learn about the judges opinions.
We will try to keep it up for as long as possible but it would be great if you could help out with pics for the show where we couldn’t take part.

We are so proud of Katja Schmitz handling Garry (Eyecatcher) and even doing outdoor sports like Agility with him. We are very happy to see them doing so well, there’s just one thing I beg all of you to keep in mind: Please try to avoid the higher jumps as long as your dogs aren’t fully developed... it’s just very hard on their joints and this could cause problems later on in life. Here’s a little movie showing them in action.

The dog school “canis disco” is inviting everyone to come to the Spring Party in Weilmünster on the 6th of July at 11:30 am. All funds will be turned over to the “Casa Nostra Animal Shelter” - with a barbeque, hand made collars and leashes, highlights like Dummy training, Dogdancing and Flyball.

WHO CAN HELP? - A well socialized dalmatian male “Pinki” was suffering from malnutrition and was taken to a dog shelter. When a good friend of ours heard about this, she got him out of there, took him home and fed him. Brigitta Franz took care of him, practically saved his life but now she’s looking for a loving home for him since she has two dogs of her own and not enough space or time for three dogs.

There are 4 pups available at the Everwood Kennel in France. Lizzy’s Mama Vamp had 13 beautiful pups born on March 11th and they can be picked up the first week-end of May. Since we entered Lizzy closeby in Amiens on May 3rd, we will be visiting them so if anyone wanted us to we could bring back one of the pups for them. It will be nice seeing Lizzy’s mother again... ;-)

The sun is shining and we go for a walk around the Opelzoo. We’ve known this place for many years now - when our girls Melissa and Ronia were small we used to push them around the zoo in their buggy, and maybe that’s why they love all kinds of animals. We still like going here because it’s fun for everyone and also because you’re allowed to take your dog (on a short leash) - which is perfect for socializing them. The stroll through the woods with strange looking animals along the way, then of course the play ground and restaurant - all of this makes it a grand family outing.
