Introduction

In 1995 we bought a black and white female
dalmatian - just because we were desperately
looking for a puppy and the dog pound didn’t have any. We named her Aline and she was a true
and loving friend to us for 11 years. With her
gentle nature she was able to accept and cope
with all of the newcomers - and there have been
quite a few since then.
In the meantime we have had two cats, two
rabbits and a talking parrot named “Bubi”. We
had to give him to a bird park because he got
lonely without a mate and started picking out his
feathers. Our cats which we loved so dearly
eventually got run over by cars...
By 1997 we kept thinking of that sweet smell of a
puppy, the way they bite your nose and nibble at
your ears. We longed for another puppy and this
time we wanted it to be a dalmatian female with
brown spots (liver) and so we fell in love with
sweet little “Piala vom Hause Lutzina”.

Through the years we’ve learned a lot about dogs
and their needs, about training them and getting

I guess this is a good occasion to introduce myself:
Sonya Ehrhard-Strickrodt - or just “Sonya”. Here I’m
holding little Aramis, who lives not too far from us in
a beautiful little town called “Königstein”.
It’s so nice to be able to visit our puppies every
once in a while and see how big they’ve grown and
how beautiful they turned out to be - almost like ugly
ducklings, except that they never were really ugly
of course - but in the beginning they sometimes did
look like little piglets...:-)

them ready for dog shows - and with a big deal of love in
our hearts we have a litter of puppies every one or two
years. Our litters have turned out very nicely, but of course
we will always try to do even better the next time. The most
important thing to me is that they grow up to be healthy and
happy dogs - living as family members with wonderful and
loving people.

We added two more bitches: “Lady Latoya”, mother of our
C-litter and then in 2004 our very special Dutch import
Gwynmor Unchained Melody”, mother of our E-litter with
twelve beautiful and very sweet and loving pups.

Now here’s a cute saying that I’ve got hanging on my fridge
to look at and to remember every day:

This is where we live...

May-I-always-be

This is our house... with our dogs sitting on the stairs, waiting for you to come in.

You see - we’re just waiting for you to come and
visit us. We know it will be “Nice to meet you!”

Out in the back yard

And finally here’s a family picture of all of us - with my husband and our oldest daughter Melissa and her sister
Ronia - and all of us holding puppies, of course...

This shows you what it looked like outside in the beginning of
March 2002, when the A-litter pups were only about three weeks
old - and of course inside the house...

The playpen outside during summer. We took some close-up pics of the
puppies which you can look up, too.

Piala, mommy of the A-litter puppies - and the best caring
mother we ever had so far.
